This one day event had a very practical focus, looking at different ways of engaging students, using our physical and virtual spaces. Sunday 8 March marks International Women's Day (IWD). Observed since 1909 it is a global celebration of respect, appreciation and recognition of women, while continuing to call for greater equality. Thousands of events are taking place to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women.
