On Wednesday I have the great pleasure of being a Guest Moderator on #edenchat. Thanks to Steve Wheeler (@timbuckteeth) for the invite.

The chat will take place at 7.00pm GMT on Wednesday 25th January 2017.

The topic I have chosen for discussion is: Blurring boundaries: impact on effective learning spaces.

During this chat we will have the opportunity to discuss if and how the boundaries between social and professional interactions are blurring; what the the implications are in relation to the amount of time time we spend online; and whether this has any affect on our own digital identity, that of our students, and the interconnected relationships that we might share within and across social learning spaces.

How to take part

During the tweetchat I will be posting 6-7 questions to stimulate discussion. These will be posted from my own account @suebecks and retweeted by Steve via @edenconference. The hashtag for the chat is #edenchat.

For those unfamiliar with tweetchats this is what you need to do to take part or simply 'listen in'.

  • Follow @suebecks and @edenconference where you will see the questions posted
  • In Twitter, use the search bar and look for #edenchat. This will bring up all the tweets that include the chat hashtag.
  • Questions will commence with Q1, Q2, Q3 etc.
  • Include A1, A2, A3 etc in response.
